NFTC VITA Volunteer Training Modules

This beginner-friendly training program prepares Nevada Free Taxes Coalition volunteers to use the IRS Publication 4012 and TaxSlayer while serving low- to moderate-income filers in the Las Vegas area. Each module follows one 4012 tab and turns technical guidance into plain-language explanations, client interview questions, common-error warnings, software connections, and scenario-based knowledge checks. Volunteers will build the skills to conduct respectful interviews, identify in-scope tax issues, enter information accurately, and complete quality-focused returns.
